Okay, first of all, when I saw the headline I thought 'This is the Onion, right?'

Mais non.

Then I read the article. And, okay, call me biased and stuff, but my next thought was 'So... why did they use the term 'roommate' instead of 'partner' because surely these guys aren't heterosexuals?'

The Onion is a 'satirical newspaper' that normally takes current events and writes articles that look like real articles but are clearly satire.

I've gotten some interesting emails regarding my previous essay on Europe. There are two things I'd like to add, one a link to an article on the Wall Street Journal site (I think it requires registration) and the other is an analysis someone sent me on Nobel prizes.
